Am I able to cut on the board?
Yes! All of our boards are made from quality hardwoods sourced from mills here in the United States. That said, over time knife marks can show over general wear and tear. With our line of serving boards, we recommend designating one side for cutting and one side for serving. Of course, you can always purchase a separate cutting board for dedicated meal prep and don't forget: we offer complimentary refinishing should your board need some extra TLC.
is the finish on the board food safe?
Yes! All of our boards are finished with a plant-based, water resistant, eco-friendly Belgian hardwax that promotes durability, ease in cleanup, and keeps your board looking its best everyday. The finish is food safe so you can enjoy your everyday charcuterie and meal prep activities.
How do I care for my board?
hand wash only with mild soap and water. Towel dry using a clean towel and allow to air dry before storing until next use. On a bi-monthly or monthly basis, apply a light coat of board conditioner.
